Nicole is a writer from Queens and daughter of immigrants from China and the Philippines. Her work has been featured in Roxane Gay's The Audacity, Electric Literature, Apogee Journal, Witness, and Split Lip and has received support from VONA/Voices, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, Tin House Writers' Workshop, and Kenyon Writers' Workshop. She is currently an MFA student in Fiction at Rutgers-Newark, where she is at work on a novel and short story collection.
